WHAT IT IS

An annual herbaceous plant the Cannabis sativa is native to Central Asia and Indian subcontinent. 

The raw seeds of the hemp plant are cold pressed to yield an oil that is deep green in colour with a pleasant nutty aroma. The green colour in hemp seed oil is a result of the high level of chlorophyll which is naturally present in the seeds.

WHERE DO WE GET IT FROM

Our Hemp seed oil comes from Germany and is certified organic by the Soil Association.

WHY IS IT SO GOOD

Hemp seed oil is a great source of high-quality skin loving nutrients. It contains a perfectly balanced 3:1 ratio of Omega 6 (linoleic/ LA) to Omega 3 (alpha-linolenic/ LNA) essential fatty acids, which are key components for maintaining and improving the integrity of the skin’s moisture barrier thus preventing moisture loss and greatly improving the overall health and suppleness of the skin.

Hemp seed oil contains about 60% linoleic acid that deliver potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and may help in the treatment and alleviation of acne, dermatitis and other skin inflammatory conditions.

The vitamins A, B1,2 3 & 6, C, D & E, provides hempseed oil with the ability to effectively tone, revitalise and nourish the skin.
