WHAT IS IT

Lavender is a small evergreen shrub of the mint family native to northern Africa and the mountainous regions of the Mediterranean. Lavender essential oil is steam distilled form the aromatic stems and flowers of the Lavendula augustifolia.

WHERE DO WE GET IT FROM

Our Lavender Essential oil comes from the alpine regions of France and is certified organic by the Soil Association.

WHY IS IT SO GOOD

Lavender has a fresh, sweet, floral and herbaceous aroma with potent antifungal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.

It has a wonderfully soothing, refreshing and balancing effect on the skin and is notable for its ability to calm irritated, stressed and acne prone skin as well as supporting and balancing healthy skin cell growth.

Lavender offers excellent antioxidant activity and can help counter the damaging effects of UV radiation by speeding up the healing of sun damaged skin.
