WHAT IS IT

Argan oil is pressed from the kernels of the the fleshy argan fruit from the Argan Tree native to Marocco.

The raw kernels are crushed and kneaded to create a paste which is cold pressed to extract the oil.

WHERE DO WE GET IT FROM

Our cold pressed Argan oil comes from a woman's cooperative in Marocco and is fairly traded and certified organic by the Soil Association

WHY IS IT SO GOOD

Argan oil has high concentrations of essential fatty acids, mainly oleic (omega-9) and linoleic (omega-6) acids which are both easily absorbed by the skin and provide intense conditioning benefits to dry and dehydrated skin and hair. 

Fatty acids are essential to the health of cellular membranes, keeping the skin elastic and supple and helping to improve moisture retention.

Extremely rich in tocopherols (Vitamin E), Argan oil has potent antioxidant properties helping to protect against free radical damage while preventing the breakdown of the skin's natural collagen and elastin.

The natural high levels of antioxidants assist in skin repair and rejuvenation helping to promote healing of scars and damaged and irritated skin.

Argan oil is also a great oil for the hair. 

It deeply nourishes and conditions the hair,  giving it shine and making it stronger and more healthy looking.
